CCC sponsors the annual Briarwood Elementary School Science Fair by providing funds to pay for plaques, ribbons, and other science-fair related expenses. CCC also judged the fair, in which five 4th grade students and five 5th grade students were promoted to the district-wide science fair.

CCC founder, Nick Conley, gains membership into the New York Academy of Sciences, and with it, access to the Annals of the New York Academy of Sciences dating back to 1823.

CCC founder, Nick Conley, is one of only three doctoral students to receive the prestigious G. J. Lieberman Fellowship from Stanford University for the 2007-2008 academic year. The fellowship pays for one year of graduate school tuition and includes a $30,000 stipend.

Briarwood Elementary School holds its annual science fair. CCC judged many of the more than 250 project submissions and promoted several to the district-wide science fair.
